How Automated SEO Can Help You Earn $50,000 in Under 6 Months

Ever wondered how Automated SEO can transform your online presence and boost your earnings? Imagine turning a virtually unknown business into a revenue-generating machine in less than six months. I’m here to share the exact strategy that took a local plumber from obscurity to a top-ranking position, generating $50,000 in just four months.

We strongly recommend that you check out our guide on how to take advantage of AI in today’s passive income economy.

The Secret Behind the Success

Executing a proven strategy is key, not luck. I’ll show you how we took a plumber in Plano, Texas, from a mediocre ranking to the very top. You’ll get an exclusive look at everything we did, from the website backend and site structure to our local link-building strategy.

Our client’s local rank was languishing in the upper teens within a 15-mile radius. We signed an agreement that included an upfront fee and a charge per lead. If I couldn’t improve their Google Business Profile ranking, I wouldn’t get paid.

Shifting Focus to High-Margin Services

We decided to shift the website’s focus from “Plumber Plano” to “Water Heater Replacement Plano.” This service is high-margin, non-optional for homeowners, and relatively quick for plumbers to perform. Each water heater replacement brought in nearly a thousand dollars in profit for our client.

From January to early May, the call volume data showed 272 first-time calls with an average duration of almost six minutes. If just 20 percent of these calls turned into water heater replacements, that’s $50,000 in profit for the plumber during this period.

Ranking Achievements

In September 2023, their ranking was in the upper teens. By early March, it had improved to 1.9, and two weeks later, it was slightly better at 1.6. This was achieved with a brand-new website launched in Go High Level, replacing an old domain.

Inside the Website Backend

Let me take you behind the scenes. The website was built on GHL’s website builder, which provides free hosting. It’s not on WordPress.

The site featured 27 pages of content, totaling around 40,000 words. All content was AI-generated, and we used around 50 AI-generated images. We avoided stock photography because Google can recognize it, and we preferred original AI-generated images.

Website Structure and Navigation

The homepage was simple and functional. Notably, there were almost no links in the navigation bar. I previously discussed how link authority is passed through different types of internal links.

NavBar links, footer links, and sidebar links don’t pass much link authority. Instead, editorial links—those within the content paragraphs—are more effective. These editorial links pass link authority more efficiently.

Structuring for Local SEO

We approached the website structure differently from my earlier video. Instead of targeting a broad term like “Plumber Plano,” we focused on a specific service: “Water Heater Replacement.”

Thus, we didn’t need as many pages on GBP services or categories. We concentrated on one service and created supporting content. Out of the 27 pages, 18 were dedicated to water heaters, and four were about the location of Plano, Texas.

Generating Content Ideas

Creating 18 unique topics about water heaters might seem challenging. We relied on Google’s “People Also Ask” section for content ideas. By typing “water heater replacement” into Google Search, we accessed a range of related questions.

We kept clicking until we found at least 18 questions to answer with supporting articles. This approach ensured we covered various aspects of the service comprehensively.

Efficient Website Building with Go High Level

To speed up the website creation, we used a Go High Level Snapshot, which provided the website’s structure and foundation. We simply replaced content and images.

In the description, you’ll find a link to my free school community. There, I provide all the prompts used, an overview of the site structure, and a website rewriting tool that integrates with GoHighLevel and ChatGPT’s API. This tool significantly sped up the rewriting process.

Cost Efficiency

Building the 27-page website took my team about eight hours. This included writing all content, uploading it to the Go High Level builder, swapping images, and creating internal links.

Before ChatGPT, such a website would have cost around $5,000. Now, we can complete it for just $500.

Links were sourced from several places. We primarily used the ice cream truck shop for links—one to each article and five to the homepage. This cost approximately $1,080.

We also joined the local Chamber of Commerce for $200. Additional efforts included citations, a press release, social signals, and blog comment links, totaling another $550.

Overall, the investment in website links, external signals, and content development came to about $2,200. This investment resulted in $50,000 in profit within four months.

The Process in Summary

Here’s a breakdown of our approach:

  1. Built a New Website: Focused on the specific target keyword “Water Heater Replacement Plano.”
  2. Generated Supporting Content: Based on Google’s “People Also Ask” section, we created content to support the main keyword.
  3. Sourced External Trust Signals: This included links, a press release, social signals, and Chamber of Commerce membership.

It took around four months for the new domain to start ranking and generating calls for this high-ticket service. A $2,200 investment led to a remarkable $50,000 in profits in under a year.
