Using Tools for Success

Another tool I frequently use on YouTube is VidIQ. It’s integrated with YouTube and pulls stats, showing you what’s currently working. Finding Viral Content

Once you’ve selected your niche, the next step is to download the Chinese app. I’m going to provide you with a list of the best apps to use. The first one is Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok. There’s also Kuaishou, another app similar to TikTok, and a very popular one in China called Xiaohongshu.

Downloading and Accessing Content

With these three apps, you should easily find plenty of viral videos that can generate income. At this point, you just need to take your phone and download whichever app or all of them. I downloaded all of them myself. After that, create an account with each app. If you find that you cannot access any of these apps due to geographical restrictions, you can simply download a VPN. This will allow you to access the apps by changing your location virtually.

The next steps will depend on which app you’re using. If you’re using Kuaishou, you can start searching for videos right away. Just type in your niche, like pets, and see what results come up. Eventually, the app will begin showing you trending videos based on your searches. Ensure that you’re searching within your niche so the app can serve you the best content.

Utilizing Xiaohongshu

If you’re using Xiaohongshu, you’ll need to select your interests when creating your account. Make sure your interests align with your niche; in my case, that’s pet videos. You can also choose a few alternative interests since this app requires you to pick four in total. Afterward, it will suggest videos that match your selections.

Downloading Videos Safely

While searching for videos, aim for those that have over 100,000 views. This will demonstrate that the content is performing well and resonates with viewers. Keep in mind that we are ultimately trying to get paid.

Another crucial aspect is to gather at least 10 videos during your search, and I’ll explain why this is important shortly. When you’re ready to download a video, simply go to it, hit the share button, and select the download option. However, if you download directly through the apps, a watermark will appear.

Editing Out Watermarks

To eliminate this watermark, you can crop it out once the video is saved to your phone. Alternatively, you can screen record the video and edit it to remove any watermarks. There’s more than one way to get this done, and I’m just sharing what has worked for me.

InVideo AI is amazing because it generates scripts, adds voiceovers, music, and captions to the videos you’ve downloaded—all from a single prompt that you will provide. I’m also sharing this prompt down in the description so you can copy, paste, and customize it according to the type of video you want to create.

Here’s what we’ll tell InVideo: “Create a blank YouTube short.” The length you insert needs to match the length of the video you downloaded from the Chinese app. For instance, if the video is 12 seconds, put 12; if it’s 20 seconds, put 20. Then, describe the topic. For example, if it’s a cute video of a dog feeding a rabbit, summarize it like this: “About animals helping each other.” Alternatively, you could say, “A dog taking care of other animals.”

Crafting an Effective Hook

Next, specify the tone of the video—whether you want it to be emotional, engaging, or high-energy. I usually go with emotional and engaging for my pet videos. Additionally, you can request a particular type of music, such as upbeat or sentimental. I prefer something sentimental. Don’t forget to ask for captions to be added to the video and ensure that it flows smoothly while capturing attention quickly.

Your hook is vital! With short videos, you have about 3 to 4 seconds to grab viewers’ attention. To craft an effective hook, you can always ask ChatGPT for a list of 10 strong hooks that are less than 5 seconds long. You can use a specific topic, such as “dogs helping other animals,” and it will provide options for you. Just copy the hook you like, return to InVideo, and instruct it to add that strong hook at the beginning of your video.

Finalizing and Uploading Your Videos

After entering your prompt, InVideo will ask a few more questions to ensure the video aligns with your audience and the platform you want to target. Once everything is set, InVideo will begin creating your video, and it only takes a few seconds.

Reviewing Output and Making Adjustments

Let’s look at an example of a great output from InVideo: “Ever seen a dog become a caretaker? Meet the hero pup, watch as he gently feeds his furry friends, spreading love and warmth with every bite.” At this point, InVideo has used royalty-free stock media, allowing you to create these videos without needing to rely on the Chinese app. You can accomplish everything within InVideo.

If you want to make changes, feel free to adjust any scene. For instance, if you don’t like the first clip, you can swap it out for a cute puppy video. Additionally, you can even change the language of the entire video to something like Spanish with a simple command. However, if you decide to utilize the videos downloaded from the Chinese app, you’ll need to edit those in the InVideo interface.

Uploading to Multiple Platforms

To do this, select the scenes you want to add the video to, then click on the “Upload Media” option to find your downloaded clips. This process only changes the selected scene. To play one single video throughout the entire duration of your InVideo creation, you’ll need to copy and paste all the content into one script box. After making that adjustment, you can upload the desired clip to that specific scene.
